Wallet Address: Your VeChain blockchain wallet address for authentication and transaction processing
Location Data: GPS coordinates when you participate in cleanup activities to verify your participation
Photos: Images you take during cleanup activities as proof of participation
Device Information: IP address, user agent, and device identifiers for security and analytics
Referral Information: Referral codes and social sharing data when you invite friends
Authentication Data: OAuth information from social login providers (Google) when using social authentication
Profile Information: Name, email, and other profile data you choose to provide to enhance your experience

Usage Information: App usage patterns and interactions

Cleanup activities and daily actions completed
Reward transactions and token balances
Referral activities and leaderboard participation

Authentication Methods and Data HandlingWe offer two authentication methods:

Social Login (Google): When you choose social login, Privy handles the OAuth process and we store the data received from the OAuth provider (name, email) to enhance your in-app experience
VeWorld Wallet: When you connect with VeWorld, we create a random UUID on our servers that is coupled with your wallet address. You can optionally add email and profile data later to improve your experience

How We Use Your InformationWe use the collected information to:

Authenticate your identity and manage your account
Verify cleanup activities and prevent fraud
Process rewards and token distributions
Facilitate referral programs and social features
Improve our services and user experience
Analyze usage patterns and app performance

Data Storage Architecture

Our data storage follows a hybrid approach:

Blockchain Storage: Only proof of activities (cleanup verification data, reward claims) are stored on the VeChain blockchain through VeBetterDAO contracts
Server Storage: All other data including user profiles, authentication tokens, app preferences, and analytics data are stored on our secure servers
IPFS Storage: Images and media files are stored on IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) for decentralized, permanent storage

Mixpanel: Analytics and user behavior tracking
Privy: Wallet authentication and social login management
Google: Social login authentication (OAuth)
IPFS: Decentralized storage for images and metadata
VeChain Blockchain: Transaction processing and smart contracts
VeBetterDAO: Reward distribution and proof verification
HubSpot: Form submissions and customer relationship management

Data Security and Encryption

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Server-side data is protected with enterprise-grade security measures. Blockchain transactions are immutable and publicly verifiable on the VeChain network. IPFS-stored content is cryptographically secured and distributed across a decentralized network.

Your Rights

You have the right to:
Access your personal information stored on our servers
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated server data
Opt-out of analytics tracking
Withdraw consent for data processing
Export your data in a portable format

Note: Data stored on the blockchain (proof of activities) cannot be deleted due to the immutable nature of blockchain technology.

Data Retention

We retain your server-side information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Cleanup verification data and blockchain transactions are permanently stored for audit and verification purposes. IPFS-stored content remains available as long as it is pinned to the network.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
